Steven Johnson, DDS
Dr. Steven Johnson is a part of a Santa Barbara area tradition of comfort and care. Dr. Johnson is a life long Santa Barbara resident and graduated from Dos Pueblos High School in 1985. Dr. Steven Johnson attended Brigham Young University prior to entering University of Pacific Dental School. He then went on to complete the advanced esthetic continuum with Dr. Gordon Christensen, who is known throughout the world for his expertise in dentistry. The series of seminars focuses on the state-of-the-art procedures and techniques available in cosmetic dentistry today to promote optimal oral health and beauty.
Dr. Steven Johnson serves on the advisory board to Lumineers® and is a member of the following professional organizations:
- American Dental Association
- California Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
Our private practice specializes in esthetic dentistry, and Dr. Steven Johnson’s extensive training in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry has led to the success and recognition of La Cumbre Dental Care, as well as Johnson Family Dental, throughout Southern California.
Gary L. Johnson, DDS
Dr. Gary Johnson attended Brigham Young University and the University of Utah before entering Northwestern Dental School. Graduating with honors in 1960, he received a research scholarship in periodontics and membership to the honorary dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Following his educational pursuits, Dr. Gary Johnson joined the Air Force and completed an internship at Letterman General Hospital in San Francisco. He then moved here to Santa Barbara with his wife where they have raised their children, many of whom have also gone into dentistry.
Practicing dentistry for more than 42 years, Dr. Gary Johnson is a lifetime member of the American Academy of Dentistry and the California Dental Association. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
